Yield Protection

  • Protects for “Production Only” loss
  • Must be under bushel guarantee for loss payment
  • Allows insured to elect less than 100% of price
  • Only plan that allows CAT coverage
  • Price is established through a price discovery period

Revenue Protection

  • Guarantee based on the higher of the projected or harvest price
  • At loss time, production to count will be multiplied by the “Harvest Price”
  • Price Discovery period is used to establish both the projected and harvest price
  • Must use 100% of price

Revenue Protection with Harvest Price Exclusion (RPHPE)

  • Guarantees based on the projected price only
  • At loss time, production to count will be multiplied by the “Harvest Price”
  • No upside price protection
  • Price discovery period used to establish both the projected and harvest price
  • Must use 100% of price

CAT Coverage

  • Only a 50% level at 55% of price
  • Production coverage only
  • No replant coverage
  • $300 administrative fee per crop per county
