How do I enroll?

  1. Go to login area for Online Banking
  2. Choose either Personal or Business in the Online Banking box
  3. Click the Enroll link
  4. Follow the instructions on the page to self-enroll
    • Personal Online Banking customers will have instant access to their account as long as the personal information entered matches the information on file with BankIowa. If unsuccessful, you will be contacted by a BankIowa representative to complete the enrollment process within 1-3 business days.
    • Business Online Banking customers will be contacted by a BankIowa representative to complete the account setup.

No need for the recipient to be registered or have a BankIowa account – simply make electronic payments using their email address or mobile phone number. Easily set up Contacts and manage both Incoming and Outgoing payments through our Personal Online Banking and Mobile Banking App. Visit Our People Pay page for all the details. Seamless transactions, no boundaries.

External Transfers

Say goodbye to the old routine of writing checks to yourself for account transfers! Experience the convenience of our External Transfer service, allowing you to seamlessly move money between your BankIowa accounts and those held at other financial institutions.

How do I set it up?

  • Head to the Pay and Transfer menu

  • Choose "Make an External Transfer”

  • On the External Transfers screen, click "Add external account"

How do I know if online banking is secure?

At BankIowa, we use Advanced Login Authentication (ALA), our innovative technology aimed at minimizing fraud risk. ALA combines a User ID with two additional layers – Complex Device Profiling and Step-Up Authentication – to verify user identity effectively. Our Out-of-Band Authentication further enhances security, allowing you to authenticate via a one-time security code delivered through a phone call or text message.
